Why choose Sav Design?
Pub du Vin
This project consisted of a pub area, a “lounge” area, a function room and 11 bedrooms. Formerly the Sussex Arts Club, it was almost completely stripped. Being a Grade II listed building some features were retained and made good, such as stained glass windows in the pub area. The original parquet flooring was preserved under the new wood flooring. This project was carried out with the advice of the local council and archaeologists who all helped ensure the building was preserved to its best. The general palette and schemes had a feeling of sophisticated beach style, thus ensuring this was not your typical, “pub up the road!”

Malmaison
This project entailed a complete soft refurbishment of the lobby area, standard bedrooms and complete refurbishment of all the superior and junior suites. The schemes around this hotel were looking very tired and dated and needed updating to keep in par with the newer hotels. So some life was injected into the specified areas, definitely bringing this space back to life. Upon entry the lobby area know makes more of an impact with bespoke lampshades and furniture. The superior suites now accommodate more guests, ideal for families. And the junior suites are now definitely more luxurious and glamorous.

Grand Pier Guest House
After under going some major reconstruction, the aim was to create a boutique guesthouse, which has an impressive look and feel. Four different schemes were selected for the 10 bedrooms. A French feel was sought after, but on a budget. Two of the schemes were quite neutral with the other two being very bold, inspired by Brighton rock! All furniture and accessories were carefully selected to ensure the desired atmosphere was created.

Afters
This truly was a blank canvas to play with and a fantastic canvas it was! During the initial concept stages the client was eager to include many things as possible. However, after consultations and careful thought it became apparent that only a few luxuries would be included. Utilizing the service area to its maximum was important to maintain efficiency, so this was the main focal point.

Office Space
The main brief of this project was to create a contemporary feel, but with an ethnic twist. Many ideas were generated to create a space to fit this brief. Upcoming artists were approached and asked to get involved to create fabrics and artwork. However, this project did not move forward due to budgetary restraints.

Residential Flat
This flat in Hull required a very quick makeover. With only ten days to work on this project a great restraint of time was forcibly imposed. Despite this furniture, accessories and soft furnishings were found, bought and installed quickly. The greatest feat being the “L-shaped” sofa, which initially had a 4-6 week lead time! The end result a good-looking flat and a satisfied client.
